Rumor Has It…There’s Improv in Contra Costa County!

Rumor Improv has been spreading the improv love since August of 2007. Our program teaches all levels, from students to experienced actors, improvisors, and comedians. Our comprehensive improv acting and comedy training programs can get you quickly out of your head, up on your feet, and performing onstage!

Rumor Improv’s Standup Comedy program has everything a Standup comedian needs from the construction of a joke, to creating a great set, to getting your act on stage (and management of your career, if you want it!)

We believe improvisation and comedy are incredibly powerful ways to remind us all about being kids.  After all, who wouldn’t want the ability to throw caution to the wind and express oneself in a safe and nurturing environment?

Based in the California’s East San Francisco Bay in the Diablo Valley Area of Contra Costa County, right smack dab on the border of Walnut Creek and Concord, we have everything for the improvisor/comedian — from proper training to a place to perform to business management of your career.
