Who is Rumor Has It Improv Troupe?

Rumor Has It Improv Troupe has a long history in this Contra Costa Area. We’ve entertained old and young and created many a unique piece that was never to be seen again. We come from a lot of different places artistically.
Our members have performed in San Francisco, Oakland, LA, and Australia.
We have people who have trained at BATS, Upright Citizen Brigade, Pan
Theater, and more!  Some of our members have gone on to create some
incredible artistic endeavors in their own right!

Some of us prefer “Whose Line is It Anyway?” style comedy. Some of us would like nothing better than to get onstage and improvise a full length musical. One thing is for sure though:
We’re here to entertain!

We’re an improv troupe with a mission to provide quality performance improv. We believe that improvisation is a
wildly unpredictable and exciting performance art that incorporates all the greatest parts of
acting in the Theater. From being in the moment to reacting realistically to
creating objects out of air and imagination, we are performers and true actors. We create everything from short form to long form and we do it all to make you laugh, cry, think, and learn! Come see our next show for a
night out that you will never forget.
