Rumor Improv has teamed up with Kinetic Arts Foundation to giving improvisational artists quality opportunities to work on their craft. The perfect low-pressure growing opportunity is one of our jam sessions.
Improv Jam Sessions have many of the qualities of performances, without some of the drawbacks. For instance, there’s no pressure to perform in front of a paying audience, but you get to be onstage. You can invite your friends, but they don’t expect an polished performance.
In an Improv Jam, there ARE no wrong lines and if a scene goes south it’s okay – no harm, no foul, but your fellow actors and actresses will love a great moment just as much as anyone.
In our supportive environment, we believe that everyone gets to perform, regardless of skill level and we hope that exposure to people with different levels of experience will encourage all performers to aspire to greater heights in their craft.
